One of GovBiz Partners was hired to assist a north Texas technology company attempting to contract with a major state agency to implement a legislatively mandated project involving complex technological solutions to be used for the first time in the state. He assisted the company by helping them to fully understand the agency, it's needs and fears about both the nature of the project, security concerns and the highly competitive nature of the actual bidding process. The entire project took more than one year. Our partner participated fully in all phases of the company's strategy, its RFP response, and the project resulted in the company's successful winning of the bid and implementation of the multi-million dollar project. The effort drew on contacts and skills ranging from specialized knowledge, lobbying skills, knowledge of additional expertise which was included in forming additional strategic partnerships which aided the company's efforts, and RFP Response writing.
Statewide Transportation Hobby Association Wins Legislative Victory
Two of GovBiz Partners were hired to spearhead an association's legislative and media and public relations efforts on behalf of public safety legislation to benefit the general public and the association's membership as they pursued their hobby. The partners assisted in drafting a bill which was successfully passed in the House and Senate during a challenging legislative session which saw hundreds of bills killed by partisan parliamentary maneuvering. The partners were able to create a positive media and legislative climate for a legislative proposal which had failed passage in previous legislative attempts.
